Experience true peace with rooms designed as a private sanctuary for one, complete with an en-suite bathroom - blending history and comfort for an unparalleled experience. Three single rooms are located at Maison du Métayer, one on top of the old stables (Ecurie Sud) and one at the Chateau,

At Maison du Métayer one private room is conveniently accessed via the garden level, the other two are nestled upstairs, accessible via the antique, wooden staircase, as we do not have an elevator. 

The Maison du Métayer has a shared kitchen for all to enjoy - perfect for savouring conversations over a cup of tea, plus an intimate salon, ideal for immersing yourself in a good book or penning thoughts in your journal.

The cosy Chambre Fleur de Lys up at the Chateau features artfully printed wallpaper and a dreamy desk with garden views.

Renovated with an attention to detail made famous by the Swiss, the simplicity of each room’s  20th-century textures and furnishings exude an air of tranquillity. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, paying homage to the building's heritage, and the timeless nature surrounding the château.

Embrace the warmth of your heated room, framed by newly refurbished historic windows that ensure your ultimate comfort. While we do not offer air conditioning, these buildings were originally designed to harness a natural coolness throughout the summer months.

Beyond your room, you'll find a spacious kitchen and a cozy salon, perfect for sipping tea, penning thoughts in your journal, or losing yourself in a book. Breathe in the tranquillity of the meticulously cared for rooms, while relaxing in the comfort of modern furnishings. Every aspect of this home has been thoughtfully designed, honoring both the building's heritage and the surrounding environment.

For your comfort, all spaces are heated and fitted with refurbished historic windows, providing a bright, inviting atmosphere. While Maison de Metayer and the Ecuries Sud are not equipped with air conditioning, their vernacular architectural design assures a refreshing coolness during summer months.

Please note, the rooms are accessible via a wooden staircase, with no elevator available.

Stay cozy with our heated rooms and newly refreshed historic windows. While air conditioning isn't available, the chateau's design ensures a cool retreat during the summer months.
